LewisGale Medical Center (LGMC) delivers quality care to our patients located in the beautiful mountainous region of Southwest Virginia. Patient turnover ranges from 3 – 10 days

85% of patients on this unit undergo cardiothoracic surgery, as well as vascular, thoracic and other surgical procedures

Patient turnover ranges from 5 – 12 days

Types of patients you may see these type of patients ventilated tracheostomy patients

Is a stroke designated unit, where patients with neurologic problems are seen
